Early Bird Books

If Early Bird Books had unlimited funding, we would launch Dolly Parton's Imagination Library for all of Kent County and start delivering free books to +40,000 children every month.

For every $150 Early Bird Books raises, we will enroll 1 child into Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Our goal for Grand Rapids Giving Day is to raise enough money to enrolled 50 new children into the Imagination Library here in Kent County. All funds we receive from our partnership with Grand Rapids Giving Day will be used to support child enrollment Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Through Early Bird Books, The Imagination Library mails high quality, age-appropriate books to Kent County children aged 0 up to 5, free of cost to the families. Early Bird Books’ mission is to make these books accessible to all families in Kent County and to help children of all backgrounds develop a love of books and reading.
