Ele's Place West Michigan

GRGD helped to get us out from behind our desks and into the community! It felt really good to be amongst so many other amazing organizations doing good in Grand Rapids. It was exciting and fun and gave us the boost of energy that we really needed. Non-profit work can be tiring. It can be hard. But we felt rejuvenated by the perspective from others on our incredible mission after that day. We increased visibility online and were able to make some lasting connections with other leaders. We can't wait to see wha this year holds.

If funding was limitless we would do most of those things mentioned. We would probably build our own facility or "Home for Healing Hearts" as other branches call it. (We rent our space.) We would hire more staff and have more nights of programming. We would hire a Communications professional for sure! Probably purchase a better platform to update our website and make it easier to learn about and support Ele's Place. We would also love the ability to attend other organizations events with a vendor booth (those typically cost money that we dont have a budget for!)

-We would love to raise $5,000.00 on GRGD. -The funds will go towards the what we need most at that time. That is usually funding our programming and staffing.-$5,000 would allow us to onboard one brand new school for an 8 week grief support group on location at thier school. Or it would allow us to continue services at two local schools in West Michigan. -$5,000 would be a great chunk of money to help meet our yearly budget and please the Governing Board to trust that we have the ability to make the money we need. It woudl provide conifidence in our mission and our supporters.
