In The Image

If funding were limitless, In The Image would continue to provide essential items to our community, but with increased reach and services. We would provide delivery service to our members who cannot visit the store or who cannot transport items independently. We would expand our case management services and develop community circles for members to grow in. We know having a strong support system is a major asset for someone's success; we would hire the necessary team members and expand support to build support networks and foster connection for our members. Additionally, we would invest in a service hub where multiple organizations could be housed under one roof to increase collaboration while also offering clients the ability to interact with multiple services in one place. Through these expansions, we would hope to offer employment to diverse individuals who have utilized In The Image's services in the past; allowing for growth, support, and workforce development as they seek gainful employment.

In The Image seeks to gain $50,000 from GRGD 2025 to support the new program, Empowering Futures, which focuses on connection and relationship to support members on their journey to more stable futures for themselves and their families. These funds support staffing, volunteers, and operational expenses of the program. This support will directly create the opportunity for connection with our most vulnerable members who are living in unstable circumstances related to housing, relationships, food security and more. Funding allows for direct, one on one support to persons who are slipping through the cracks in our local systems. Case workers and resource navigators will support those who engage the program into a more connected life with direct aid and with warm connection to other area resources through our collaborative network. This helps us to facilitate strength amongst community organizations, while also supporting individuals to more sustainable and secure lifestyles that not only impact their lives today, but impact the generations to follow in their footsteps.
