Marvelous Lifestyles Outreach

Grand Rapids Giving Day 2024 was a meaningful and energizing experience for Marvelous Lifestyles Outreach. It helped us establish new partnerships and connect with supporters who believe in our mission. Through this platform, we were able to increase awareness about our programs—like Marvelous Kidz Learning Center and Future Wealth Builders—and expand our reach to more families and youth in Grand Rapids. GRGD reminded us that when the community comes together, real change is possible—and we’re incredibly grateful to be part of that movement.

If funding were limitless, Marvelous Lifestyles Outreach would build multiple community hubs across Grand Rapids, Detroit, and other underserved areas. These hubs would be safe, empowering spaces offering youth access to after-school programs, financial literacy education, mentorship, mental health support, and career readiness—all under one roof.Each hub would also feature dedicated gym space where kids can engage in sports, physical activities, and team-building experiences that promote health, discipline, and confidence.By expanding our footprint, we wouldn’t just be enriching the lives of youth—we’d be creating meaningful job opportunities for educators, mentors, coaches, and community members. This vision is about more than programs; it’s about building places that spark growth, connection, and generational change.

For GRGD 2025, Marvelous Lifestyles Outreach is aiming to raise $10,000 to support the growth of our after-school and youth development programs. These funds will be used to:Hire part-time program support staff and tutors for our Marvelous Kidz and Future Wealth Builders programs.Provide healthy snacks, educational supplies, and enrichment materials for over 75 youth participants weekly.Offset transportation costs, ensuring students have safe and reliable access to our programs.Support mental health and mentorship sessions focused on emotional well-being, goal setting, and life skills.This funding will directly impact the youth and families we serve by expanding access to meaningful, high-quality programming in safe and supportive environments.
